Off the news: Haleiwa land-use shift moves forward

The need for housing is high, and so the City Council’s Zoning and Planning Committee has rightly advanced Bill 37, to enable state land use reclassification of 7.29 acres in Haleiwa from “agricultural” to “urban” — despite vocal NIMBY opposition.
