Off the news: Hawaii still able to tee up PGA events

It’s unfortunate that The Sentry won’t be staged anywhere in 2026, after drought conditions made the Plantation Course at Kapalua unworkable to host the PGA Tour’s traditional season opener. Attempts to find an alternate venue for that tournament of champions, here or on the mainland, were unsuccessful due to logistical difficulties.
