Off the news: Mixed signals in Medicaid fraud fight

Does the Trump administration want all 50 states (and the District of Columbia) to fight Medicaid fraud, or is it grandstanding to “own” blue (Democratic-majority) states? Given the administration’s odd behavior — inviting blue-state officials to a “roundtable discussion” about fraud on Tuesday, then turning them away after they’d traveled to the capital — one might infer the latter.
