With the last of three severe weather episodes in the rear-view mirror, the state wants to help families that lost food due to power outages or other crisis causes. The Department of Human Services has set April 29 as an application deadline for households eligible for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits to get replacements benefits.
