Off the news: Task force targets building permit process

We’ll follow with cautious optimism the workings of the Simplifying Permitting for Enhanced Economic Development (SPEED) Task Force, a new 34-member interagency group looking for ways to simplify or streamline building permit processes statewide to enable more construction and economic development.
