On the Move: Nina Ota

First Insurance Company of Hawaii has promoted Nina Ota to Senior Vice President of Underwriting. Ota brings 25 years of company experience to the role, having joined FICOH as a management trainee in 1998. She has steadily advanced through several key leadership positions, serving as assistant vice president of agency relations from 2013, vice president of personal lines underwriting from 2015, and vice president of marketing, agency relations, and customer experience from 2022, before taking over the billing department in 2024.
