Powerful Hurricane Lowell on track to pass west of Kauai and Niihau on Monday

Hurricane Lowell, a massive Category 4 cyclone, remains on a course that forecasters believe will bring it close to Niihau and Kauai by Monday, according to the Central Pacific Hurricane Center.
