Rearview Mirror: Life in Hawaii through the eyes of its last queen

Hawaii’s last queen, from 1891-93, Queen Lili‘uokalani, was one of our greatest composers. She was also a talented writer. She wrote a beautiful, eloquent autobiography, “Hawaii’s Story by Hawaii’s Queen” in 1898.
