TOKYO >> In a projection booth about 6-feet-by-6-feet, a reel of 35mm film spins with a rhythmic clacking sound. The light emitted from the projector reaches the screen, and a story starts to unfold at Waseda Shochiku, a historic movie theater in Shinjuku ward, Tokyo.
