Hawaii County fire crews have suspended the search at 6:30 p.m. for a 15-year-old boy who was swept out to sea last Wednesday.
Tyler Madoff of New York had been part of a mainland-based youth tour group when a large wave knocked him into Kealakekua bay on July 4th.
Madoff’s parents held a press conference Sunday to thank everyone who’s helped with the search and rescue efforts.
They’re back home in White Plains, New York Monday.
