Subsidy would boost anime, manga globally

TOKYO >> To help expand international marketing of anime, manga and other types of Japanese entertainment, the Japanese government is considering 11.5 billion yen in subsidies to 15 companies, with the goal of tripling overseas sales to 20 trillion yen by 2033.
