Talent aplenty as first state surf event ready to go

The Maui Interscholastic League will have the local knowledge at the first Hawaii High School Athletic Association state surfing championships Friday and Saturday. Plus, the MIL is the only league to hold school-sanctioned surf meets since they have been allowed in Hawaii, starting in 2014.
