If you were looking for the epitome of a successful Hawaii tech entrepreneur, Hoala Greevy is your man. In 2014 he founded Paubox, which specializes in encrypted HIPAA-­compliant email solutions for the health care industry. HIPAA refers to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 that addresses medical information privacy laws. Greevy moved the company’s headquarters from Honolulu to San Francisco in 2015 to grow it but still manages his operation between here and the continent.
