Trial begins in fatal shooting of 24-year-old pregnant woman

After four years, the trial for Samuel Carter, aka Tony Johnson, 62, commenced this week in the Aug. 19, 2022, late-night shooting death of a 24-year-old pregnant woman, who was seated at a bus stop in Chinatown.
