UH water polo team wins tourney opener

Agatha Weston finished with five goals and three assists, and Ariadna Temprano Xambo had three goals and four assists as No. 1 seed Hawaii beat No. 8 seed UC Santa Barbara 18-6 in the quarterfinals of the Big West Women’s Water Polo Championship on Friday in Long Beach, Calif.
