Board of Water Supply crews completed road repairs and re-opened the two ewa-bound lanes on N. School St., between Kamehameha IV Road and Ahonui St., about 3 a.m. Sunday.
Water was restored to more than two dozen homes and businesses in Kalihi Saturday afternoon.
Officials say the main was installed in 1927 and is located near other utilities, that’s why it took longer than usual to fix.
