Vegas Advisor: 2026 to be low-key year for projects

Following a quiet 2025, during which there were no significant casino openings, two major cancellations (Dream Hotel-Casino and a center-Strip casino from Golden Nugget owner Tilman Fertitta), and lots of renovations and upgrades, the schedule for 2026 will be similarly limited. One casino, Cadence Crossing, is scheduled to debut this summer on Boulder Highway in neighboring Henderson and a North Las Vegas casino is expected to open in the space that was formerly the Poker Palace. Beyond that, the only significant change will be the official renaming of the Cromwell to Vanderpump Las Vegas. As for major projects, it looks like the next will be the guitar-shaped Hard Rock on the Strip, scheduled to open in 2027.
