Whereas Monday Night Football parties used to be a major promotional tool for the casinos, today those parties are all but extinct. The last big free party at South Point is still big, but it’s no longer free, with a $10 admission fee added this year. The default now is to go to one of the big sports books to catch the games. Best for deals is the SuperBook at Westgate, where during the games, beers are $1 and hot dogs are $2. If you want to walk on the wild side, Sapphire’s gentlemen’s club still runs its big Monday-night viewing party. There’s a $28 (after tax) charge, but it comes with two drinks, raffles for swag throughout the game, and a top-level buffet that features tri-tip, chicken, a charcuterie selection, hot dogs, wings and an assortment of desserts.
