Vegas Advisor: Disruptive F1 prep already underway

It’s that time of year. Time to fade the preparations for the Las Vegas Formula 1 Grand Prix. Preliminary work is already underway, but the major disruptions are about to surface. The building of the temporary bridge over Koval Lane will close traffic on East Flamingo Road this week before it reopens with only two lanes, which can slow traffic. Other disruptions will take place around the 3.8-mile track leading up to race weekend starting Nov. 19, then for six weeks after for the teardown. The Strip will have lane reductions during the day and will be shut down completely some nights through the end of the month. The worst disruptions are at Flamingo Road and the Strip, which should be avoided if possible.
