M Resort, the southernmost casino on Las Vegas Boulevard, and the first encountered while driving in from Los Angeles on Interstate 15, will unveil its new hotel tower on Dec. 3, and it’s doing it with a bang. The opening will be celebrated with a free, public 12-minute show featuring 500 drones, a concert and the screening of the movie “Elf.” The new East Tower is part of a $206 million expansion that includes a 15,000-square-foot ballroom and a revamped gaming floor. M Resort’s second hotel tower nearly doubles its capacity for a total of 765 rooms and suites.
