Nevada sports books won $9.9 million on the Super Bowl; however, it was a big drop from last year’s record $22.1 million. The decline was primarily the result of a betting handle of just $133.8 million, the lowest since 2016. The Seattle Seahawks’ 29-13 win over the New England Patriots meant that Seahawks and under bettors got the money. The house doesn’t always win, but it usually does — this was the 34th time in 36 years that the casinos have won on the Super Bowl.
