Walk raises nearly $200,000 for fight against breast cancer

Thousands gathered at Pearl Harbor’s Richardson Field early Saturday morning to fight breast cancer.

A sea of pink flooded the field for the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer five-mile walk.

The walk brought together survivors, supporters and their families, all helping spread the word about breast cancer awareness.

They raised nearly $200,000, all will go toward the society’s research efforts in finding a cure for the disease.
