Warriors Punter Dunnachie arrested for alleged drunken driving, Michelle Wie tumbles in round three of U.S. Women’s Open

For the third time in less than four months, a member of the University of Hawaii Football team has been arrested for suspision of driving under the influence. At 2:30 this morning, Senior Punter Alex Dunnachie was tagged for a D.U.I. Joining Quarterback Cayman Shutter and Linebacker Alema Tachibana as off-season arrests. Shutter, has been suspended for the first four games of the year and Tachibana’s punishment is expected to be handed down following his court date later this month. UH Head Football Coach Norm Chow, although disappointed, had no comment on the situation as the program continues to gather information. In 40 career games, the Australian Dunnachie, has averaged 41 yards per punt. He is considered as the Warriors top NFL prospect, having been named to the pre-season All Mountain West Conference team by several publications.
